Recommended Kit List
Long sleeve shirt, warm socks, comfortable shore shoes, toiletries including towel, woolly hat, sun cream, sun glasses and soft soled deck shoes. Please bring everything in a soft bag (no suitcases). If you are spending the night onboard your yacht, please bring a sleeping bag and pillow. As a general rule, you should bring clothing that is suitable for both hot and cooler/windy weather.
Your yacht will come with wet weather gear. However, if you have your own please feel free to bring this with you.
If crew members can refrain from wearing high heels onboard we would be most grateful, as this damages the yacht and they are also unsafe.
N.B – 80% of UV rays are reflected by water. Therefore, we recommend a sun cream of at least factor 25. If you burn easily you should consider a higher factor. We also recommend good quality sunglasses that block out all UV rays. A sun hat is also recommended.
